We are all busy making plans for our annual group trip to Las Vegas!  Some of the group will be driving and others will be flying.  We are planning on staying a little less than a week In April!  During our stay we will visit the various casinos, eat at the famous buffets, and explore the city.  Jim has plenty activities even for our consumers who are too young to gamble!  We will take plenty of pictures and will post them on the website when we return.

Viktor celebrated his 19th birthday at Hooters.  He was surrounded with a huge group of family and friends, as well as Hooters girls to recognize his big day.  Viktor received lots of nice gifts and gift cards.

Jose is home from the hospital.  He suffered some serious medical complications following bi-lateral tendon releases.  He now requires a tracheostomy to breathe and is unable to sit comfortably in his wheelchair for any length of time.  The surgery was supposed to reduce Jose's severe leg spasms and increase his comfort.  Unfortunately, the surgery was not successful and in fact Jose is now in much more discomfort and pain with increased neck and back spasms.

Jim is finally out of the hospital, this time for good we hope!  Jim has spent most of 2006 in the hospital recovering from a very serious pressure sore.  While confined to a specialized bed, Jim spent much of his time organizing the supported living activities and supported living staff meetings.  He has basically run the program from flat on his back.  We are all happy to have him up and rolling again!
